Something written by me in 1968
that I found in an old theme tablet:
________________________________________
Oh, Great Jehovah, come
To rest thy kingdom on this earth.
Let neither time nor enemy
Stand against thee,
But let them be broken
As a seal on thy book of blessings.

From this hour take me,
And to another move me,
For this is sin.
Change within me
This great love of sin.
Move me to a motive endless,
Which is pure, holy, and good.
Light of days, cheer me;
Strength of night secure me.
Make my speech thy speech
That I may in thy purpose be;
For that one soul which I love
May dwindle still deeper Hellward.
See my way to him to the
Realization of eternity
Through Thee
My sin was that I could not get the courage to witness
the Gospel to a good friend, and I was afraid
that his soul would
"dwindle still deeper Hellward."
